I don't see why everyone is? arguing over religion and stuff on here. If you're so religious that you can't watch this without being offended, don't watch it?

What is your native language, then? Your English is quite good, except? for the occasional misspelling.

I thought the top comment was alright until it mentioned? politically motivated social construct.

You know what? I don't have much of a problem with people who do that, I mean, believing in a god is not such a bad thing, it is believing in the doctrines and the dogma that is the major problem. Agnostic theism is not something that I consider detrimental, but rather gnostic theism. The only problem I would have? with people doing that is people like William Lane Craig, who is still Christian, despite the teachings of his holy book. Let's face it, science and Christianity don't go together.

In my opinion debates on this subject will never come to an end because there is no way you could disprove gods existence, and by their hillbillie logic if you cannot prove that something doesn`t exist, than it? must exist. My only regret is that after we are all dead I cannot go up to one of these mindless drones and go:"I told you so!"
By: v3n0mka. on 29 Apr 12, 14:28:54
but wait ! Apologists these days realised exactly how moronic that is and they are going at it from another angle, wich I find a pathetic attempt of correction. They are now taking the idea that science adjusts its theories based on what it observes and saying "oh, my! God is even greater? than we thought".

his? ability to memorize such a technical poem still astounds me >.

Philosophy is actually the love of wisdom, not knowledge. It was Socrates who said "I know that I know nothing" - but I agree with you for the most part, though I think a philosophical hypothesis cannot be disprooved - it can only be criticized. But this discussion is too difficult to have in English? - I'm not a native speaker :(
By: caseygrimm. on 24 Apr 12, 07:54:37
"Philosophy" is the love (philo) of knowledge (sophy). There are many things scientists do not understand, and this excites and motivates them. Their rules are simple: First, unless your assumption offers a hypothesis with a testable prediction, it adds nothing to human knowledge. Second, if your peers cannot replicate your results, you have tested nothing. Finally,? if your prediction fails, you must discard your hypothesis. That last bit is what separates them from the "Supernatural" crowd.

not YET able. We are starting to associate certain areas of the brain with certain functions related to language. Neuroscience is a toddler right now. The brain? is vastly complex.
By: Fimbultyr. on 20 Apr 12, 12:50:35
While I agree with Tim, Storm is actually correct about Science? not being able to ponder certain things. Science is not able to understand the connection between humans and for example language. That's why philosophy is still important.

Yeah could be funny if the dinos started eating jesus' family or some nice? shit xD
By: coophomie. on 10 Apr 12, 23:19:21
Absolutely. But probably the biggest problem I find with the bible is... it's missing about 60 million years... It says he created earth, the heavens, and man? within a 7 day span... where the fuck is the chapter with dinos and all that fun schtuff?
By: TurnerEdits. on 10 Apr 12, 18:16:00
And? they say it is god's words in the bible even tho that the bible has been updated and changed a lot in the times where only few could read to make sure they had power over the city and to create fear.
