dude you got it all wrong ,the bbboc withdrew chisoras license and never banned him thats the real issue, right there ,they messed up,and the big AND they actually told him from their own mouths that they could re-apply for a license from another country, dont blame warren ,if they cant govern their own sport? properly ,they need replaced with people that can
By: SuperCriticalstrike. on 17 May 12, 16:02:16
Fight should happen? so Chisora can get his face smashed
By: nephildevil. on 17 May 12, 14:55:32
wasn't really paying attention, but boring old bureaucrats bitching about licenses is not what boxing or any? kind of fighting is about, bureaucrats shud be guillotined for all i care :D

Another example that proves that going into? the EU undermines national law/regulations. Basically what it equates to is like saying to our Police, and saying you cant arrest me, Im in europe also.

British Boxing Board of Control? are Cunts. if it was david haye v klitschko they could do shit
By: TeamCGS2005. on 16 May 12, 20:39:09
However it's not to discount Frank Warren et al for trying to get British Boxing (and indeed the Heavyweight division in general) back on people's radars. What I mean is that I don't blame him and those involved for trying to encourage talk and excitement in the? stagnant division, but I do feel he's gone about doing it in the wrong way. While it may have been the only realistic achievable way to do it, it was dishonourable nevertheless and goes against everything it now stands for.
By: TeamCGS2005. on 16 May 12, 20:22:16
But that's just like saying why have rules in the first place, or why have gloves in the first place then if that's their original intent; to smack the daylights out of each other. Boxing evolved way past the state it was initially; one merely of pugilism into one that centred more on honour and integrity? irrespective (or rather more because) of the fact of what happened in the ring. I disagree with you mate :) What these guys have done is gone back in time.
By: LogicalStatements3. on 16 May 12, 20:09:03
I disagree. Why do people try to make a sport where? people punch each other in the face more than what it is? a fight. Respect to the fact that they are tremendous athletes but they are still smacking each other in the face, how can you call the political controversy outside of the ring a disgrace compared to what happens inside the ring...... >.> Makes no sense to me.
By: ItsBiwiPwice. on 16 May 12, 19:50:35
Oh for? god's sake, let the fight happen. Boring cunts.
By: TeamCGS2005. on 16 May 12, 18:35:25
They seem to be forgetting that rules, like the Marquess of Queensbury, were brought into the game? for a reason; to maintain some semblance of order within a sport that had the potential (if unchecked) do untold damage to the combatants and to the sport in general. By by going against the BBBoC, they have seriously undermined not only the authority (the body that should enforce regulations), but the history of the sport. It's a disgrace, and this brings great shame on Britain's boxing heritage.
By: LogicalStatements3. on 16 May 12, 18:17:22
Ohhhhhhhh fuck all the red?? tape. Let them fight. *This is boxing not nuclear war.
By: secondsout. on 16 May 12, 17:44:50
More? from Luxemburg and Bruce shortly
By: secondsout. on 16 May 12, 17:44:02
There are two seperate? issues here: should Haye be allowed to box Chisora and secondly should the Luxemburg federation be able to regulate events in the UK
By: Leinster4life13. on 16 May 12, 11:52:55
I'm bringing UFC up as a comparison of Regulatory boards,I agree Haye and Chisora are a disgrace..But They should be allowed fight if they can get enough suckers to pay to watch.Banning them is a restriction of trade. There are too many belts and? too many fighters fighting mediocre fights. Th current system does not work as you have situations like this, and the fact that 'champions' can fight once a year against mediocre opp and still hold the belt.We need unification of the sport.
By: Afflictionzv1. on 16 May 12, 11:37:40
Well, with regards to this fight both fighters should not be able to fight at all, ever. This is because they are both of one nationality, both? have brought Britains boxing into disrepute and both are completely disrespectful to opponants. UFC has nothing to do with this matter, so why even bring it up? Bringing a single body to lead all boxing is a stupid idea, the current system works, its the fighters promoters "the Suits" that need their authority limiting.
By: Leinster4life13. on 16 May 12, 11:30:44
Suits fighting over money in other words. Anyone willing and physically able(eg? not Tommy Morrison) should be allowed to fight. The crooks at the top are the reasons we have Fighters dodging each other and 'world' champions fighting out of a single country and only fighting bums of their choosing. All the regulators are doing is dragging boxing into obscurity.Look how the UFC is unifying MMA under a single 'reputable' brand. All the belts/Boards/regulators need scrapping,nd a single body in chrge.
