Im not discrediting your opinion but evp's are supposed to pick up the noises of the spirits residing in a place. The idea is that the noises which we would naturally make walking up stairs or across floorboards? occur when there is no one physically there to make them. Did this "spirit" take a wooden stair way with him/her? What about the shoes that make the foot steps noise? Do they wear noisy shoes in the 'spirit world', too? I think that all of these EVPs could be random noises/voices from people doing? every day things in a parallel universe.
