OK ESSE @KBadtower...another easy one...You have 3-different dogs 1-German Shepherd 2-Golden Retriever 3-Labrador Retriever. How should each dog be trained? The same?" If the same methods why? If different methods why? Why are Labrador retrievers the most turned in dog to dog shelters? Is it because they turn aggressive towards children as they get older? What reason? do most people give for giving away/placing in shelter a Lab? GS, what is *MOST IMPORTANT* when training a GS? Riddle me that!
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:49:06
@KBadtower ESSE! Disciplined based training *ONLY* teaches a dog? what is has DONE WRONG, therefore, the dog learns that it makes it's own decisions, and will be punished. Such a Pendjo...can't BELIEVE IT...answer my question, why do drug dogs do drug searches? Why is a Police dog willing to put is *OWN LIFE* on the line for it's Trainer. Because he BEAT HIM? Why does a police dog know which suspect to "attack" if other Humans are around? Come on, tell us what you know, ESSE Maricon!
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:42:09
@KBadtower Maricon, ESSE! You do not now shit! OK, you so smart pendejo. Tell me, come on ESSE! Tell me why "Discipline Based Training" is good for Drug search dogs? Esse, how? you "Discipline" a dog to find drugs. Pendejo...tell me? How you BEAT A DOG--into sniffing Drugs? Puta Madre PERRA!, I'll put that PRONG collar around your neck and SNATCH it...see how well we can make you prove your Training..Come on ESSE...tell us...how you "DISCIPLINE TRAIN?" a drug dog, Esse? Maricon..you're worthless
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:34:29
@KBadtower.You are a DUMB FUCK to use "DISCIPLINE" with a dog allowed in public? places around people...I KNOW FOR A FACT you do not train dogs. Any person with 1/4 of of brain knows that *ANY DOG* (POLICE DOGS INCLUDED)--that are expected to "Work" around public *ONLY* receives 100% positive based training. You stupid FUCK of a human. WHY? So that the dog will not make it's "own decision" for *ANY BEHAVIOR* ---ESPECIALLY Police Dogs--they MUST be trusted NEVER to make a decision on their own!
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:30:11
@KBadtower..you are so full of shit...I can smell you from here....A real world Drug Dog trainer. I will ask you the EASIEST question in the WORLD. When training a drug sniffing dog, why? is the dog interested in finding Drugs? 1-Dogs are born to like smells of Pot and Cocaine--so the reward to the dog it finding the Drugs? 2-Dogs seek out Drugs to the receive positive affirmation from a trainer? 3-Dogs consider it a "game" to find drugs, thus the "game" of finding drugs. Thus happy to do so?
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:25:26
Anyone with a name @KBadtower has no business discussing Animal Behavior. I'm guessing you believe in "KICK TRAINING" too? The choke collars around your neck are really impressive....why not use a? PRONG collar...OH, that's RIGHT---you might hurt yourself with a PRONG COLLAR around your neck!
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:21:15
You are an ABSOLUTE sociopath if you use a prong collar on a dog. A MENTAL HEAD CASE. What POSSIBLE NEED would you use a PRONG COLLAR? I pray to GOD, someone steals your Dog from your Yard (as I'm betting you're one of the CLOWN POSSE) that chains a dog to a tree? too....You are DESPICABLE!
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:18:56
Oh, I"m convinced, anyone who watches that show is Pathological and suffers Mental Illness, probably a Sociopath. Milan entered the US Illegally (was illegal for long time, legal in 2009). He has ABSOLUTELY *NO DEGREE*--claims "self trained" watching dogs on farm. He was was A LIMO DRIVER, before Trainer. Lucky break, drove Jada Pinket (Will Smith wife)--Told her goal to be trainer. She helped him open? Place. Then his golden ticket for access to "Hollywood"-*ZERO* professional training/or degree
By: thezenfuldog. on 25 Apr 12, 19:16:08
Not sure this is "New News"---(the article is dated 04-12-2012)--However, the entire video is Caesar Milan, *KICKING* dogs to train. Also, in the video shows training another guy, have *NO CLUE* what he thought the dog was doing wrong, but hauled off and GUT KICKED the dog, to the point, Dog Yelped, laid quickly on the ground, Milan's response---SHUSH to the dog. Vid is FULL of dogs wanting to bite Milan. Scary thing is, kids who? see this, think is' "Appropriate" and are kicking he dog!!1 *sigh*
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 06:30:58
And still no direct answer to my challenge. Show your dog-skill, not? your tool skills. Drop your prong for three months and I'll drop my clicker. Let's film the training and see the results. Why are you afraid to match your dog-skills to mine? I don't need to hurt my dog to control her - or those of clients. I'm not saying BTW that cadaver searches are easy. Observed the German cadaver search training. Quite interesting and without prong collars. Try doing a water search relying on a prong.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 06:27:08
Just because YOU say that SAR is purely positive, doesn't make it true. Most SAR dogs in the US are still trained with shock, which is not necessary, as is shown daily by the Germans, Swiss, Japanese and others. What you don't know seems to fill volumes. It's not really easy, training? a dog to ignore busted refrigerators in rubble after a 7-o earthquake and find people. Some train to only find living (Germans). Others train to find living and dead (Swiss).
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:43:08
Oh my God. You have a mental disorder that causes you to not remember stuff. I keep repeating that SAR work is a Purely Positive training field. It's easy and anyone can do it. As for proof of my? skills. Feel free to watch my videos. I'm done with you.
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:39:08
Here's my challenge. Learn how to train dogs.?
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:37:21
Now I'm 100% convince you're inept and not a person to listen to. If you think the purpose of the prong collar is to cause pain. You are not using it right. Any real dog trainer would know this. I'm? done with you as of now.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 05:29:05
So my challenge stands - show your SKILLS, not your tools. 3 months with prong vs 3 months without clicker. Video proof right here on YouTube. If you? can't, come back when you've learned how.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 05:27:38
And you don't need pain to develop drive. And once developed, you don't net pain to turn it on/off. You need training and impulse-control work. If you still need a prong to control the off-switch, then you haven't trained your dog. Watch my last training film towards the end, after having worked the recalls and the "leave" we go? to "out" out of the high drive. The "leave" after the "out". All done off leash and without pain or coercion.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 05:24:25
Our last dog as a non-aversively trained SAR dog. Prong collars are not nevcessary to? train SAR or cadaver searches. Or field searches. Google Robert Millner. As for me, you have no idea about me. I grew up with dogs, and have been training semi-pro and pro for over 12 years now. My videos show a bit of what I've done with my present dog. If you can't train without a prong collar, then you need to sharpen your skills. I've got the skills to train with or without clicker.
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:21:11
As a professional I can't and will not accept such a childish challenge. This is my business and above all integrity and reputation. You on the other hand have nothing to lose. I have no Advertisement, not even business cards. People have spread the word about me, the young Dog trainer who lives in the mountains, who? gives free seminars to Schools, Animal shelters, Hospitals, Churches & more. Who has helped find two missing children in the Puerto Rico Forrest. And yes, I do have a lot of pride.
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:12:55
Are you really a professional? Like in any profession I have tools. Like a carpenter and his hammer. A doctor and his surgical equipment. An accountant and his computer. And I have looked at your videos. No attack, no protection, no search, no ring sport. Just fancy tricks and Polka dancing. You do NOT have the experience or skill to tell me how to do my job. Show me a video of a Purely Positive Trained Attack Police dog who obeys at a rate? of a 100%. Then I shall take you seriously.
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 05:05:26
You really don't take the time to read my reply's. I train dogs to find Dead bodies and/ or missing children. And how do you think I accomplish this? By using a dogs a drive. Please sir stick to? your salsa lessons.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 04:52:44
Oh, and there is no official title of SuperDog. that's maybe yours. High drive dogs? Well, drive is one of those things. A hunting dog before the release and during the search. Extremely high drive. Talking that genetic hunting chain, which you seem to know nothing about.? THAT'S what "drive" is. The fixed modal pattern, genetically strengthened at certain points in the chain. It's not secret, no rocket science. It's knowledge, experience and wisdom. But you've got time to learn.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 04:48:33
The only thing you have to counter such a challenge is to disparage the other person. Instead of that, instead of preening your own feathers, why not show what you can do without a prong collar? If yo've looked at my videos, you'll rarely ever see either a clicker or food. Can you show your work without the prong collar? go? ahead! Don't rely on a tool, rely on your training skills. Show us what you can do, leaving out just one tool of your toolbox.
By: musicofnote1. on 31 Mar 12, 04:45:46
So - you're not going to take me up on the challenge. I work with aggressive dogs besides my? own. Yes, I do freestyle with mine, but also hunting field trials. So my challenge stands: I will not use my clicker for three months with either my dog or with my clients' dogs. You stop using your prong collar for three months with your dog and clients' dogs. We'll both film the training. And we'll see how that training goes.
By: KBadtower. on 31 Mar 12, 03:18:34
I can explain that. Searching work? is best when done purely positive, that has been proven. But Protection, attack, and Non-complaint suspect detaining work Needs 100% reliability, that positive methods have yet to produce sadly. I keep trying with my personal dogs. The dog MUST always let go of the suspect at the moment it is given the command. So I'm up against the wall, The police demand high drive powerful dogs that respond at a 100%.
