, I guess your right when you say you had to live? during that time to understand how special it was. I was born in 1967 and lived thru the 70's as a kid and 80's as a teen and to me the 80's the entire decade was special.

The car is a 1953. The 1954 has eliptical parking lights. The 53 had round parking? lights. No other major differences

"Growing Pains ripped off this episode a few years later, where Mike Seaver picks up a ghost girl.?" Wouldn't? using magic be against Christian Kirk Cameron? I'm still pissed at that twerp for getting yummy Julie McCullough canned for posing in Playboy! That asshole.

"1954 was a bit early for the time frame of the show." I get what you are saying about when the show starts...but it's not a far stretch that a mechanic in the 50s-60s would like a 54 over a 55. Hell, I was born in 1970, and I love the design of a 69 mustang convertable! Way before my time. "1955 was a really great and special year, you would've had to have lived? back then' Not disagreeing...but preference of a car 1 year before is still "of the era".
By: MJ0428. on 10 Oct 10, 23:13:58
Besides, 1955 was a really great and special? year, you would've had to have lived back then to be able to fully appreciate it, it was like magic that year. That one and 1966 and 1969, those were the days.
